Clean the garment, spray the coating, and let air dry. Revivex Durable Water Repellent provides protection in rain and snow. The Durable Water repellent coating is what makes the water bead and run off the outside of your cag, Drysuit or other wet weather gear. Cleaning your clothing with an approved/appropriate detergent will keep it performing at a higher level but eventually you will need to renew the coating using this or a similar product. Over time, DWR (durable water repellency) on technical gear wears off, and the fabric gets dirty and absorbs water.
